Harry joined the Navy in 1984 and served as a Hospital Corpsman “Medic” in hospitals as well onboard a Fast Frigate ship. Students will still need to complete the mandatory 400-hour internship of hands-on training for the national exam. The online course features a step-by-step guide simulating our classroom course. Textbooks will be shipped (textbooks included with tuition) by our team. Once enrolled, students will have instant access to our enriching course. Online students have the ability to choose their schedules. This training will help you pass the national exam as well as have you ready to apply for a position as a Sterile Processing Technician. You will also be required to volunteer at one of the partner hospitals and complete the 400-hour internship of hands-on training. The time needed to keep up with this schedule will require that you dedicate a minimum of 25 hours each week to prepare for the exam. Each week a lecture will be held discussing two new chapters by the instructor (In-Person or Live Stream Classes). These requirements will consist of completing your reading, homework, and tests while coming into class one day a week (In-Person). Once you receive your course material, you will be working and studying to complete the requirements for your certification.
